3D Prints for Hackett shop display

Hackett is a multi-channel British menswear brand from the UK. With 77 stores across the globe, Hackett are going from strength to strength. As a result of its increasing popularity, they have opened a flagship store in Japan, due to the success of Hackett in Japan where they already have stores in various cities, including Osaka and Tokyo.
Vertex were approached by Hackett, who wanted us to work with them on creating an amazing visual display for their new flagship store.  This involved creating 3D printed models of famous London landmarks. Vertex provided four models for Hackett: The London Eye, The Gherkin, Tower Bridge and Battersea Power Station.

The models were captured using stereo photogrammetry from high-res aerial imagery. The models, captured as part of our wide area 3D London model, but Hackett were interested in the individual models only. We had them 3D printed using ZPrinter 650s and a ProJet 660 powder based printers as well as SLA plastic printer for the 3D print of the London Eye. The client was very pleased with the end result and we are looking forward to seeing them used in their displays.
